On April 6, the instigators of the Girls' Code, an initiative that aims to educate and introduce girls to programming and digital technology, organized a big event at Laurier Quebec. It reached 2,500 people and mobilized nearly 1,000 girls for a day of discovery of the programming. On the strength of this experience, the girls suggest that schools in the greater Quebec City region participate in the “Girls of the Future” contest before May 24.
To enter the competition, you must answer, in a text of 100 words or less, the following question:
I am creative! If I gave myself the skill to create games, applications and robots, what would be the solution that I would develop for the company?
The school whose participants have submitted the most ideas will receive a loan of 6 robots, 14 computers and 3 tablets. Schools have until May 24 to pass on the received ideas of their students and thus have the chance to benefit from the loan of material.
