Lévis, January 29, 2018 - For the very first time, the Juvénat Notre-Dame is offering all families and all those involved in education a thematic day: “Parents connected, famille smart”, experience education at the digital era which will take place on Saturday April 14 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
"While the uses of digital technology continue to evolve and take up more and more space at school, it can be easy as a parent or worker to feel overwhelmed by the competence and use of digital devices by our young people. . In this sense, this project aims to bring together parents, education stakeholders and young people in order to make them experience activities to give them the opportunity to discover and better understand the links between education and digital in all their facets ”, explains Ms. Corinne Gilbert, Director of Educational Services at Juvénat Notre-Dame.
The event "Connected parents, smart family" is developed around the family, education, pedagogy and digital technology in order to respond to new challenges in the use of digital technology both at school level and in families. .
"To be successful in the modern world, young people must know how to use technology without letting themselves be swallowed up by it, and their fate in this regard rests in the hands of the school and their parents," adds Ms. Corinne Gilbert.
