The CADRE21 training offer continues to be enriched with the launch of two new training courses in the area of ICT Competence.

Creative video

Teachers are invited to discover the immense potential of video creation, in various forms. Whether it is like:

  • educational resource, via an existing video;
  • video capsules created by the teacher as an educational tool;
  • proof of learning, through documentation and feedback;
  • video projects created by students as a learning tool;

the possible uses of video are practical and genuine. The exploration and implementation of these different dimensions make it possible to integrate it into the heart of the learning process of its students.

This training was developed in collaboration with Stéphane Hunter, communications technology teacher and consultant within the EscouadeÉDU team.

Robotics and programming

In recent years, robotics and programming have gradually made their entry into elementary and secondary schools in Quebec. More and more teachers and schools are considering how to integrate them into their school curriculum in order to develop in students a multitude of skills and abilities that will be useful to them throughout their lives.

This new training, developed in collaboration with Christine Jost, Charlotte Bélanger and Marie-Pier Delisle of the Estime team, offers the tools and advice necessary to deepen your understanding of the principles of robotics and programming, and thus develop the aims relevant and effective teaching for its classroom context.

At the heart of digital competence

These two new trainings are in addition to the four other trainings of the platform already available under the axis of ICT Competence.

With the recent publication of the Digital Competence Reference Framework of the Quebec Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MÉES), these two new training courses come give more support to the 12 dimensions of the competency.

As a reminder, as part of the measures announced in the MÉES digital education action plan (PAN), the CADRE21 now offers free access to its online training courses to all school personnel in Quebec. Click here for details.
