For more than 15 years, the Academos organization has supported young people in their professional orientation and has offered a mentoring service. Last year, he launched his online platform where 14 to 30 year olds can connect directly to the world of work and obtain information in order to achieve their professional project.

With Academos, thousands of young people can discover what really excites them, learn more about the job of their dreams, build a professional network and, perhaps, find their first job, by connecting with more than 1,700 mentors, as well as with other young people, businesses, schools and organizations that share the same passions. Moreover, the more the young person uses the Academos platform, the more it adapts to him.

It is a (free) working tool that is also very relevant for youth workers in schools and communities in Quebec. To support them in the integration of Academos, the team has developed a range tools and services for them:

  • a 3-minute video for a classroom presentation;
  • live chat support when browsing the site;
  • an Academic Day, led by one of their agents, to enroll between 175 and 300 students per day;
  • educational support documents (program sheets, FAQs, questions to ask your mentor, etc.).

Finally, Academos offers online training free to learn about the guidance social network and be equipped to use it and present it to young people.
