In her 32 years of teaching, Danis has changed her teaching practices tremendously. Since digital technology entered her life, her role and that of her students have been transformed. Today, she does not hesitate to "use" the knowledge of her students to her advantage, from their ideas in order to motivate them and empower them.
"I learn as much from my students as they learn from me" - Danis Michaud
Personal projects and digital tools
At the start of the year, Danis asks his students to find an interdisciplinary project at the Creative Lab. Although it communicates its expectations to them and offers them support, it is the students who are in charge of their project and who must account for their learning. If she also occasionally does formal teaching, Danis makes sure to make educational differentiation through the use of her blog and various digital media.
We invite you to listen to this interview conducted as part of the 10th edition of the conference Clair - see education differently to discover how a dynamic teacher fosters the engagement of her students.
