QUEBEC, Oct. 2, 2013 / CNW Telbec / - On the occasion of World Teachers 'Day which is celebrated on October 5 of each year, the Federation of Teachers' Unions (FSE-CSQ) is launching the clip this week " I teach, because ... To recall all the passion that drives the teaching staff in the exercise of their work.

“The teachers do a remarkable job, in conditions that are not always easy. It requires professionalism and a lot of passion to be able to awaken that of the students. Let's take the time to appreciate their contribution and recognize the difference they make every day in the lives of the people they meet, ”said Mme Josée Scalabrini, President of the FSE.

Launch of the campaign Prof, my pride!

For the FSE, this day is a continuation of its important campaign to promote the teaching profession, Prof, my pride! She will therefore take advantage of this moment to launch her recognition campaign aimed at collecting positive testimonials about outstanding teachers. Thus, students, colleagues, parents and members of the public are invited to pay tribute to a teacher who makes a difference in his or her community by sharing a text or a video under the theme "A wink to my teacher, because… ".
