As part of the Québec Research and Innovation Strategy, the Department is launching a call for proposals for entrepreneurial immersion projects intended for high school and college youth.
Incubators, accelerators, university entrepreneurship centers and other organizations are invited to apply for financial assistance.
Startup Jeunesse wants to allow young people from high school and college to live an immersion experience of several months in a support environment for innovative companies with high growth potential. As indicated on the website of the Ministry of the Economy, Science and Innovation, this call for proposals aims to "meet the need of society in terms of strengthening entrepreneurial succession, through the exhibition of young people to the business start-up ecosystem and to the first experience of starting a business ”.
The Department's contribution can represent up to 60% of eligible expenses and the maximum amount is 50,000$ per project. The maximum duration of the project is 12 months.
Applications for financial assistance must be submitted by October 31, 2017 at 4 p.m.
