Our 6e Digital education summit will take place at Montreal Sheraton Center, May 3 and 4, 2018. The call for papers is available on the Summit website.

The Digital Education Summit is an event that stands out around the world for several reasons. This is one of the rare events where practitioners (teachers, educational advisers, principals, etc.), students, parents and researchers are brought together. Bringing together nearly 1,500 people from some 40 countries, the Summit allows all education stakeholders present to better understand what is being done elsewhere, in addition to obtaining visibility at the international level.

Innovations planned for the 6th edition

For this 6th edition, the organizing committee is innovating with a series of new initiatives:

  • 60-minute hands-on workshops;
  • “Hands on digital” workshops where the objective is really to allow participants to come and manipulate, talk, discuss, ask questions;
  • meeting Pechakucha ;
  • panel discussion on themes of interest to schools;
  • panel of students;
  • workshops for students;
  • etc.

In addition, discounts of 35% on the registration cost are granted:

  • when a participant from a previous edition sponsors a new participant (both benefit from the discount);
  • when a practitioner and a researcher make a collaborative presentation at the Colloquium (both benefit from the discount);
  • to all new Summit workshop leaders.
