Desjardins offers prizes to support your class and school projects

The Desjardins Foundation Prizes will be back from October 5 to 26, 2020 to support teachers and stakeholders with youth motivation projects. 

The Desjardins Foundation Prizes are aimed at enthusiastic school and community workers who wish to obtain financial assistance of up to 3,000 $ to carry out a project with kindergarten, elementary or secondary students. This project must actively promote school perseverance and educational success by contributing to motivation, self-esteem, association with peers, physical and mental health and safety, and healthy lifestyles of young people. or any other determining factor.

The winners are determined by a vote of the directors and employees of the Desjardins Group and of the Desjardins Insurance agents and announced by mid-December, for a scholarship award in January and February 2021.

Elementary and secondary schools in the Canadian provinces where Desjardins is present (Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick) as well as charities registered with the Canada Revenue Agency can submit a project by going to between October 5 and 26, 2020.
