Following the closure of the Roof of the Grande Arche until January 2011, the first edition of the event dedicated to the education sector will finally take place on November 8 and 9, 2010 at the CNIT, in La Défense, in Paris.

The Academic eLearning Forum announced in early June 2010 the opening of its very first edition in France by creating the benchmark event dedicated to educational technologies, access to which will be completely free.

Initially scheduled for October 12 and 13, 2010 on the roof of the Grande Arche in La Défense in Paris, the organizers had to deal with the extension of the closure, on the part of the Ministry of Ecology, of the Roof of the Grande Arche for security issues until January 2011.

Faced with this problem and to meet the expectations of exhibitors and lecturers, the Academic eLearning Forum will thus come to the CNIT in La Défense on November 8 and 9, 2010.

This event organized by Veille Magazine and iLearning Forum Ltd. will always take place in the heart of the show ICC, the exhibition of innovation, competitiveness and knowledge.

As a reminder, the objectives of the Academic eLearning Forum are to:
- Bring together all French and European players in the academic eLearning sector in order to share experiences and knowledge, create new synergies and initiate new projects and collaborations.
- Take stock of the state of the art of eLearning in education in France and make comparisons with other national education systems in Europe (facts and figures).
- Discover new learning technologies and available solutions, through the exhibition, conferences (case studies, demonstrations and discovery workshops).
- Understand the academic eLearning market, what are the players, the challenges, the deployment methods and the key success factors (best practices, measures of the quality of learning, etc.).
- Planning the future - benefit from exchanges and interactions between participants to develop scenarios for the evolution of the sector.
