QUEBEC CITY, Feb. 2013 /CNW Telbec/ – The Federation of Teachers' Unions (FSE-CSQ) joins its voice to all those who this week express their gratitude to teachers on the occasion of Teachers' Week, which is being held this year from February 3 to 9 under the theme “A Québec proud of its teachers”.

“I invite as many people as possible to highlight the daily and essential contribution of teachers to the development of students. They are at the heart of Quebec schools and work with professionalism and commitment to instruct, socialize and qualify the society of tomorrow,” declared Manon Bernard, President of the FSE.

Since this issue is a priority for the teachers it represents, the FSE is conducting a major campaign to promote the teaching profession. You can participate or see what's going on at profmafierte.com.

Profile

The FSE represents more than 60,000 teachers in all sectors of education, including preschool, primary and secondary education, vocational training and adult education.
