The REFAD 2022 Grand Gathering opened with a conference by Cathia Papi, professor at TÉLUQ University. Her presentation focused on the place of distance education in the world of education and the workplace. She reviewed the history of distance education and presented the main challenges of this practice.
Before concluding the 2021-2022 school year, another great event is on the horizon for the École branchée team as the Grand rassemblement REFAD 2022 will be held online from June 7 to 10, bringing together Francophone distance education stakeholders from across Canada.
Pupils and students had the opportunity to comment on their online learning experience over the past year during a panel discussion recently presented by REFAD. Among the panelists, future teachers testified to certain learnings that will guide their approach to their careers.
