Detailed programming

Building a digital worktop thanks to the tools Google

In the digital age, a student who knows himself as a learner is an autonomous student, who knows what helps and what hinders his success, and who mobilizes the digital tools that optimize his learning. Indeed, many applications allow you to create a flexible work plan, which supports him in this process of self-knowledge, which targets goals and helps him to self-assess. In this workshop, you will see how to help students make the right choices for them, self-assess and also how to track them individually while not losing the big picture of the class group. You will also discover how to set attainable and concrete learning goals for young people.

With Laurie Couture, educational advisor at L'École branchée

Maximize your use of the Chromebook

Do you have access to Chromebooks in your school? This simple and versatile device is ideal for a multitude of educational activities with students of all ages. In this workshop, we will discuss the specifics of this device and its possibilities. Turnkey resources to help your students (or yourself) to appropriate this device will also be available. We will also present a variety of tools to help your students create, collaborate and organize!

With Alexandra Coutlée, Coordinator of Pedagogical Services at L'École branchée

Creation activities of manipulation in mathematics with the help of digital technology

It is well known that manipulation in mathematics allows students to better grasp and understand the concepts taught. Digital technology can become an interesting ally when it comes to manipulation! At the end of this workshop, elementary and cycle 1 teachers will have constructed mathematical activities to use immediately with their students. We will explore the types of manipulatives and have criteria for selecting appropriate digital tools.

With Sylvain Desautels, technopedagogue at Chenelière Éducation

Make it easy to feedback and evaluation with the tools Google

Are you looking to become more effective when giving feedback to your students? Are you looking for a different way to assess? Find out how Google tools can help you this year. In the workshop, several examples of activities will be proposed! We will discover innovative pedagogical practices as well as tips on how to use triangulation and learning traces with Classroom, Form and some automation and merge add-ons.
