The 56th football high mass will take place on Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Los Angeles. Indeed, like every winter since 1967, the Super Bowl is the unmissable event for more than 110 million Americans, who would not miss this game for anything in the world. A look at an event that goes beyond its sport.

This year, it is the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams who will oppose each other with the aim of winning the prestigious title of champions of the season, as well as the ring and all the honors that go with it. The meeting will take place at SoFi Stadium of Inglewood in L'state of California to the United States. It's very rare that the grand finale takes place in the city of one of the finalist teams!

“Second event of the year where we eat the most after Thanksgiving, the Super Bowl is a revered day on the American calendar. Much more than just an American football final, the Super Bowl is also the most expensive 30 seconds of television advertising, the most watched sporting event of the year, conversations around the coffee machine the liveliest the next day, […] In short, an unmissable part of popular American culture to follow to be in on the action! »

We will therefore be at the 56th final of the National Football League, where excess and excess are an integral part of the most watched sporting event in the United States, by far. 111 million viewers, 1.35 billion chicken wings consumed, $5.6 million for a 30-second TV commercial in 2021, $5,000 average for a stadium ticket, 27.6 million tweets and 240 million comments and likes on Facebook… Here are as many disproportionate figures as reasons to analyze an event that goes beyond its sport.

“But the Super Bowl is more than sport, a cultural event where what happens off the field is just as followed as the game. "

Beyond sport, art also invites itself into the event during half-time, where year after year, various artists push the limits of the possible by offering spectacular musical and visual performances. This year, we will be entitled to a gathering of five stars, Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
