This offer from the renowned Montreal daily offers classes of 4e and 5e secondary to receive the digital version free of charge for 15 weeks.

Did you know? As a teacher you can take advantage of a free 15-week subscription to the digital version of the Independent Daily Newspaper The duty, in addition to making it available to your students (up to 30 per group). The offer is reserved for classes of 4e and 5e secondary as well as CEGEP. It includes unlimited access to all content in the tablet app, 100 % website, full journal edition in PDF or online format, in addition to viewing 25 archival articles (since 1992) per month.

To benefit from it, a responsible person must complete the online form, after which a representative of the daily will establish contact to finalize and validate the registration. According to the information requested in this form, the offer would also be accessible to classes outside Quebec.

Will you benefit from it? It's a great way to use current events to create reading situations, contextualize learning, promote citizenship education and instill good information consumption habits among students. Also, more particularly, its consultation and that of other sources will make it possible to support the development of skills related to the Contemporary World program, in the social universe, which are:

- Interpret a problem of the contemporary world;
- Take a stand on an issue of the contemporary world.
