A Meeting With… Marie-Philip Poulin

Like many Canadian athletes, Marie-Philip Poulin, captain of the women's ice hockey team, is competing at the Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Here is a simple and modular activity that combines reading comprehension and digital creation to discover our athletes and their journey.

Main activities' targets

Hockey is not just for boys! On the contrary, girls and women are becoming more numerous and successful in professional hockey, just like Marie-Philip Poulin. She was recognized for her numerous achievements during Olympic Games of 2010, 2014, 2018 and at the World Championships of 2021.

In this short video, you can learn a little more about the captain of the Canada women's national ice hockey team, also called The Crosby Woman.
