Montreal, February 18, 2019 - On February 21, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., high school students will hold a Reparothon. This free community event mobilizes computer volunteers who help people diagnose and repair faulty or slow devices to extend their lifespan.

The particularity of the Reparothon Ville-Marie is that it is the first to have assembled a team of volunteers made up of young people aged 12 to 16 who act as computer experts. Since its first edition, several schools have followed suit.

This initiative, both social and educational, is the result of a collaboration between Collège Ville-Marie and Insertech, a neighborhood organization that acts as a partner that trains and supports our students in anticipation of the event. It allows the school and its young people to play an active role in the neighborhood while providing a volunteer and work experience.

Collège Ville-Marie is a non-profit organization of nearly 650 students. Five distinct educational programs are offered: Initiative, Outdoor Sport, Regular +, Support and International. Ville-Marie college values going beyond oneself both for its staff and for its students. Convinced that all students are capable of success, the College offers adapted programs and courses that allow each student to develop to their full potential.
