(Press release) – There are only a few hours left before the official registration deadline for the InteraXion Challenge, January 19th. However, the organization will accept registration forms until January 28 if you contact them beforehand by email or telephone to ask them for details, or to indicate your interest in the project.
What is the InteraXion Challenge and who is it for?
The InteraXion Challenge is a school perseverance challenge for students aged 10 to 25, attending a full-time public elementary or secondary school in the province of Quebec. It offers students experiencing difficulties at school or at risk of dropping out the opportunity to discover multimedia in order to stimulate them to continue their studies through the production of digital productions on a given theme.
To underline the efforts of the students, all participants who have completed the Challenge will receive a certificate of recognition awarded during the Recognition Gala at the end of the Challenge. It is also on this occasion that more than 8000 $ in prizes will be offered to the finalist and winning teams as well as to the team managers, who will have accompanied them throughout the realization.
CyberCap Help
To make it easier for team managers, a list of practical and free software is given to them. A tool kit will also be available on the website. This kit is made up of tutorials created by CyberCap for the two categories offered. In addition, the InteraXion Challenge coordinator is available to answer teams' questions and thus facilitate their task.
