Apoticarium.City contest: the duel

As part of its mission to promote careers, Pharmabio Development launched on February 25 the new competition "Apoticarium.City: the duel".

 

Description of the competition

This contest is intrinsic to the Apoticarium.City web game whose quest is to create a virtual drug. Participants face opponents in knowledge duels on issues related to the drug development process.

The participants

This individual and inter-school competition is open only to students and secondary schools in Quebec.

How to participate

Just like the game, the contest is available both on www.passionnetesneurones.com, the site dedicated to promoting the careers of Pharmabio Développement, and on GAME SCIENCE in the laboratory on the central square of the host island. From these virtual places, the student must register and identify his school before starting the duels by provoking the opponents in the laboratory.

Terms of the competition:

Participants who complete at least 3 duels are eligible for a draw which will take place at Pharmabio Développement on April 20, 2015, at noon. The winners will be announced the same day at 2 p.m. Montreal time on the Facebook page of Passionne tes neurones.com.

The duration of the competition

From March 13 until April 17, 2015, at noon Montreal time, the number of knowledge duels completed by players will be counted.

Student prices

The first prize, worth 303.80 $, is awarded to the student who won first place in the draw. He won 1 Samsung Galaxy tab4 tablet, TFT 8.0 screen, 16 GB expandable to 64 GB, 3 MPX camera (rear), 1.3 MPX (front) and a 1 year subscription to Curium magazine. The second prize, worth 160.94 $, is awarded to the student who won second place in the draw. In addition to a 1-year subscription to Curium magazine, you earn 1 Striiv Fusion bracelet for monitoring activity 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, monitoring sleep quality, call alerts. and text messages and featuring smartwatch apps.

School prices

The first prize, worth 98.50 $, is awarded to the high school with the most completed duels. She earned a 3-year subscription to Quebec Science magazine. The second prize, worth 45.94 $, is awarded to the secondary school for second place in the number of duels completed. She earned a 1-year subscription to Curium magazine.
