Press Release - The Fédération des comités de parents du Québec (FCPQ) invites parents and its partners in the field of education to its National Conference, which will be held on May 28, 2022 in hybrid mode at the Hôtel Le Victorin in Victoriaville and online. The theme of the event will be "The Role of Parents in Education".

"Parents are essential partners in the school system. School staff, students and parents must work together in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. They all have a role to play in success. During our National Symposium, we will reflect and discuss the place and role of parents in the school. This event is also an opportunity to finally meet in person and celebrate parental involvement," says Kévin Roy, President of the FCPQ.

In the morning, participants will attend a youth panel that will focus on their expectations of their parents in relation to their success and personal development.

During the day, participants will take part in workshops focusing on the place of parents in education. On site, it will be possible to discuss with the various partners in the Exhibitors' Lounge.

To conclude the day, a recognition evening will be held to highlight the involvement of parents in the school structures.
