Trois-Rivières, November 30, 2017 - For six years, ÉtudeSecours has contributed to success education for young people in high school across the province by offering innovative online educational programs to support young people, their families and schools. In this line, ÉtudeSecours has signed a collaboration agreement with Tamaplace, a French company.
“Since the start of our collaboration almost a year ago, the relationship with the
Tamaplace is natural and easy. This agreement brings us to another level, unique in Quebec, ”explains Marie-Claude Harnois, General Manager at ÉtudeSecours.
The Tamaplace platform promotes the active participation of students both orally and
in writing, it provides an interactive whiteboard, classroom management tools for the teacher, and more.
Online classes allow young people to build close relationships with
the teacher, and even the other young people, without being afraid of being judged. This favors
exchanges for many of them. “The digital approach is a powerful lever
with young people. Tamaplace's interactive classroom is a different and pedagogically well thought out tool. As a teacher, I want to encourage young people to learn beyond the walls of the traditional classroom, to live another positive learning experience, ”says Ms. Harnois.
Remember that ÉtudeSecours offers online courses specially designed for young people.
secondary school, personalized tutoring and online bridging courses leading to regular courses in mathematics and science courses in Secondary IV and V, all with a view to CEGEP admissions. The educational material offered is stimulating and provides great flexibility in the schedule. All teachers are legally qualified and experienced. The organization also offers support to young people and parents who have chosen homeschooling.
About Tamaplace:
Created in 2012, TAMAPLACE uses a patented technology requiring few connections and using a secure data encryption system. Stemming from video game technologies, the solution developed by Tamaplace allows users to find themselves in a common virtual workspace: everyone can see each other (webcam), hear each other (audio) and each can interact individually. Tamaplace counts among its CGI clients, the University of Bordeaux, Ensam (arts & crafts), Airbus and of course ÉtudeSecours!
