We chatted a few times with Alexandre, a young high school student, who created a website to share school organization tips with his peers. Now he is interested in facilitating the transition from primary to secondary. Here is an invitation he is launching into the École branchée network!
“We all know that changing the environment is a challenge for all students. That's why in 2017 I created https://organisetoi.ca. It is a website developed by a student for students to help them organize themselves better.
Let me introduce myself, I'm Alexandre Crête, I'm the one behind this initiative. I am currently in 4e high school and I always want to help young people in one way or another. It is with this in mind that today I am writing this short article to ask for your collaboration.
I need your collaboration since I am doing a study on the transition between primary and secondary school. I collect responses from different people from different backgrounds. For example, I want to collect responses from primary or secondary school students, teachers or parents, or any other person interested in the project.
This survey will allow me to get testimonials, questions to answer, statistics and sometimes ideas! All these aspects will allow me to work on a transition guide from primary to secondary school. Here again, the guide will be made by and for the students.
I really want to help as many young people as possible get through this ordeal, that's why I'm calling on you! If you can help me by sharing my study with as many people as possible that would be great! To access the study, you can go directly to my website at organizetoi.ca/survey.
Thank you very much for your help and look forward to sharing my work with you !!! "
